Received 1,395 Likes on 1,104 Posts. In all E-Series from at least 1997 until EOL in 2013 the blend door drive motor is on the right hand side of the evaporator/heater core case. Your problem might NOT be the blend door---the Temperature control on the dash board could have failed or you have have blown fuse in the blend door drive circuit.
